About us
At Hampshire Hospitals Charity, we support patients, staff and volunteers at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT), the trust that cares for patients in Basingstoke, Winchester, Andover and Alton hospitals.
Together with its community, Hampshire Hospitals Charity work to make sure that patients at HHFT continue to receive outstanding care, that staff are supported to do their jobs and that the trust’s hospitals are a comfortable and welcoming place for everyone including patients, loved ones and staff.
Thanks to generous donations and support from people like you, Hampshire Hospitals Charity have been able to invest in vital equipment, refurbish wards, fund further staffing, enhance staff welfare initiatives and so much more.
Hampshire Hospitals Charity has used funds raised to make a real difference to so many. In recent years, the charity has been able to refurbish several patient areas including ward D1 at Basingstoke Hospital, they have invested in additional cardiac monitors, upgraded nuclear medicine service equipment, purchased reclining chairs to increase comfort for patients choosing to move from their beds, helped to fund the conversion of Burrell House to what is now Winchester Hospice and funded many other projects designed to enhance patient care at HHFT.
Now more than ever, HHFT relies on donations and funds from their charity to continue to innovate, improve and invest in projects over and above what the NHS can provide.
